Greetings from the Solidarity Action Network!  This is an update for organizations and folks planning to participate in our upcoming 8th Annual Solidarity Fair.

We are looking forward to hosting what promises to be a dynamic and creative gathering.  Please share this information with your members. We encourage every group and organization tabling to spread the word and invite all your members to join us for the day.

Speak Out! – Last year we had great fun inviting folks to share songs, poetry, readings, and performances to inspire our radical imaginations.  We invite you to sign up for a spot and share your passion.

Preparations for the day:

If you are planning to table, please come early for set up.  We will be there from 9 am on, and all are welcome to set up at your leisure.  We’ll be starting our festivities right at noon, so please try to come ready for set up no later than 11:00.

Tables and chairs: Each group is responsible for bringing their own table.  We will have some chairs on hand to support the Speak Out! and Movement Conversation spaces. Please bring your own chair, especially if you intend to table.  Additional chairs to share are appreciated.

Canopies: In the event showers or hot sun, please consider bringing a canopy to protect your table and a way to secure the canopy should the wind come up.

Food and drink: The wonderful members of the Coalition of Graduate Employees (CGE) are providing a sumptuous free meal to begin the Fair.  If you would like to help us offer “grazing” food throughout the Fair, please consider bringing a snack to share. Water will be available in the food tent. Also a good idea to bring a bowl if you can!

Facebook event page:  Go to our event page and invite your members and friends.

Please share Solidarity Fair fliers.  We have both 8x11 English and Spanish quarter sheet fliers. Just save the images below and share!

Looking forward to sharing the day and making some movement magic!
